Lo Statuto della Regione Liguria tra recenti revisioni e prospettive future

The essay analyses the ‘statuto’ of the Liguria Region, that was enacted in 2005 and then amended four times in the following two decades (latest amendments were passed in September 2025). The perspective of the analysis is twofold: first, some desirable amendments will be proposed, regarding the relations between the Region and the European Union, and the participation of stakeholders to the activities of the Regional Council; secondly, the latest amendments (about the number of members of the Regional Council, and the functions of the President of the Region and the regional executive branch), that were passed in 2025, will be analysed.
